Cambourne Cricket Club (CCC) has been in existence since 2002 and has continually grown from strength to strength since then. We currently have a new fully-fitted Pavilion and pitch in Lower Cambourne with the Upper Cambourne ground online from 2009 season onwards, albeit with limited facilities to begin with.
CCC currently has 3 senior and 3 junior league teams and offers friendly fixtures to any interested local sides.
2009 will be a very exciting year in the history of the Club as during the winter months we have made significant progress:
•3rd Adult Team
•New Ground in Upper Cambourne
•Clubmark Affiliated
•U10 Team entered for the first time
•Artificial Pitch Lain at Lower Cambourne Ground
This is primarily in response to the growth of the Club over the last 6 years from a group of ‘hackers, blockers and slingers’ playing the occasional friendly in between beers each year to a competitive Community Sports Club with over 60 members of all ages and abilities.
CCC is dedicated to the following:
•Providing a fun and safe environment for all cricketers of all abilities
•To be completely accessible to all, irrespective of age, gender, race, income or disability
•To provide both competitive and social forms of cricket
•To serve the interest of the members
Cambourne CC have an existing site at www.cambournecc.com
